Our semi-frameless shower screens give you the look of an almost frameless screen but at a more cost effective price. Our semi-frameless shower screen has only a PERIMETER frame, there are no vertical frames on sides of fixed panels. The effect of glass to glass meeting is similar to a frameless screen. The door is totally frameless.
Because we use stainless steel pivot pins as opposed to the usual plastic, we are able to offer door widths wider than previously possible. In many cases this eliminates the need for a separate fixed panel next to the door, giving a more open appearance to the bathroom and reducing the incidence of water escaping between panels. The doors are able to open in and out, with an optional door gutter fitted inside the door to prevent water shedding on to the bathroom floor. Our door configurations can be designed to suit any situation.
Our glass supplier complies with Australian Standard AS1288-2006 – Toughened Glass. We also recommend that we treat your shower screen with VITROglaze®. VITROglaze® chemically fuses with glass surface leaving a permanent barrier. It makes the glass easy to clean and protects against the build up of scum.
